Overview

Why do we advocate for it?

As prices go up, workers find difficulty in affording basic needs due to insufficient wages.

This, unfortunately, produces a myriad of consequences: low productivity among workers, weaker purchasing power among consumers, and occupational safety and health hazards. Job tenure is a paramount concern of the informal sector. With the rise of informal work, workers become more vulnerable to exploitation and abuse as social safeguards are unprovided, and labor rights are neglected.
