Working together for a
more inclusive future.

Inklusibo tackles the root cause of the informal sector’s marginalization to deliver justice, inclusion, and equity. We recognize that power relations are unequal, severely affecting people’s access to resources and opportunities. By asserting economic justice, decent human settlements, and accessible social services through knowledge and capacity development, our goal is to empower communities and amplify their demands. From one community, we have expanded and reached other urban centers in the National Capital Region and the Visayas region.

Our goal is to produce replicable community-led practices backed by data from actual conditions of the informal sector. Such a vision can only be realized if we collectively act on it. Thus, Inklusibo banks on the strength of its partners and networks to fulfill it.

Our Principles

Inklusibo operates at the highest standard without risking the people’s safety.
Our four principles ensure that all we do is anchored to the people and communities we work with.

Inclusive Participation

Promoting meaningful participation of the marginalized sectors, most especially its segments that are further disenfranchised: women, LGBTQ+, youth and children, elderly, and persons with disability; ensuring that their perspectives are recognized and integrated

Collective Action

Building networks of solidarity and facilitating collaborations among different groups and formations that are also advocating for inclusive development, and the rights of the urban poor, informal workers, and other workers in low-wage, vulnerable employment to pool learnings, resources, and strategies to create larger collective impact.

Critical Collaboration

Advancing the interests of the marginalized sector through establishing relations and critically engaging with government agencies and members of Congress or Senate.

Genuine Empowerment

Empowering the marginalized sectors (the urban poor, informal workers, and other workers in low-wage, vulnerable employment) by raising their awareness and critical consciousness, and fostering their self-reliance and capacities to advocate and work towards systemic and transformative change that addresses the root causes of marginalization.

Our 2028 Goals

Inklusibo identified two main goals for the strategic period.
Our aim is not to create a clear-cut path, but to have a direction on how to contribute to our vision.

Shaping Community-Led Initiatives promoting People-Centered Development

By generating knowledge and developing capacities with communities, Inklusibo will be able to empower communities to become catalysts of change.

Enhanced Inclusive and Equitable Governance for the Informal Sector

By generating knowledge and developing capacities, communities will be able to shift narratives and strengthen rights-claiming and accountability seeking from state actors.
